A new way to think about Alex Pall

Chainsmokers’ DJ Alex Pall, the Grammy-winning musician, was featured in the online version of Wall Street Journal.

The Chainsmokers is a duo from the US, formed by Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart. Their song “Selfie,” wrote in 2014, was a top twenty single in many countries.

In a recent interview, a reporter asked Alex Pall about their duo name. The answer was short: “Just a name!”. Their successful song, “Selfie,” was described by Alex Pall as a life-changer, for the duo. Before the fame, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart formed The Chainsmokers in 2012. At their beginnings, the singers created remixes of indie bands.

In 2015, the duo released a single named “Good Intentions.” The next single was named “Roses.” The song becomes a commercial success. Alex and Andrew obtained multiplatinum in many countries. Other musical creations, such as “Waterbed,” were also successful. The duo collaborated with the Dutch DJ Tiesto. They wrote together “Split.” Another successful single is “Until You Were Gone,” released in 2015. The songs -except Only U – appear in the duo debut EP, named “Bouquet,” released in 2015. The final single from the EP is “New York City.”

Success has come

ON February 2016, Alex and Andrew released a new song, named “Don’t Let Me Down.” Two months later, The Chainsmokers wrote a new single, “Inside Out.” The Swedish singer Charlee contributed to the song success. One year later, in 2016, the Chainsmokers created a new song, named “Closer,” featuring the singer Halsey. They arrived on the first position in the US and UK, and a few other countries. The duo performed the song at the MTV Awards. Unfortunately, their performance wasn’t appreciated. A few well-known publications named their performance the worst of the spectacle.

In 2016, The Chainsmokers were at the 18th place in DJ Magazine’s list on top 100 DJs. On January 2018, the Chainsmokers released a single, named “You Owe Me.” During a show in Prague, they launched a new successful song, named “Everybody Hates Me.”

Alex Pall is also famous because he is the owner of a cute poppy, named Mooshu, very popular in FB and Tweeter.
