Nobody can argue that Omar Boraie is not a successful man. He came to this country from his homeland of Egypt, where he spent time a traveling chemistry scholar. He landed in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and immediately had visions on how to make his newly-adopted better than it had been before. This was almost 40 years ago and his goals and plans for the city continue to take shape, despite what the naysayers originally said.
According to Patch, he began shaping up the city by purchasing dilapidated buildings, one after the other. His goal was to build luxury office buildings and apartments. His goal has seemingly worked, as he boasts a wondrous view of the city from the eight-floor of the building where he gets his business done.
He quickly went about building what is known as Albany Street Plaza Tower One. This achieved the desired effect of bringing Class A office space to the struggling city. Twenty years later, Tower Two was built and took its rightful place next to Tower One. Quickly realizing that there was also a need for residential space, he constructed the equally fabulous One Spring Street Condominium building.
The Condominium boasted 121 residential units along with 40,000 square feet dedicated to more office space, 10000 square feet for retail establishments, parking facilities for over 400 vehicles and a park and picnic area. He was quite thrilled to see his dream come alive and bring so much needed life back into what had been a floundering city on the East Coast.
He continues to work hard at development and is currently finalizing plans to make the Albany Street Plazas a trinity with the addition of Albany Street Tower Three. If his past success is an indicator of the future, it will be a sight to behold. More details can be found on Crunchbase.com.
