Helane Morrison is the chief compliance officer of Hall Capital Partners LLC, which is one of the largest consulting companies in San Francisco. She is also a member of the executive committee of the enterprise. Hall is a firm that came to rescue the public after they lost their trust in the financial industry due to the 2008 economic crash. It was during her tenure at SEC when she dealt with fraud cases involving top companies like Hewlett-Packard, HBO, Next Card Inc, and Google. Before joining SEC, she had practiced law at various institutes including; Howard, Nemerovski, Canady,Rice, Falk and Rabkin from 1986-1996. Earlier she had worked with Harry A. Blackmun and Hon. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Helane received her degree in journalism from Northwestern University, and later she earned her degree in law from the University of California. In 1987, she was admitted to the California state Bar.
Morrison began her career in 1984 as a law clerk for Richard A. Posner, and a year later she worked with Harry Blackmun. In 1993, she tried cases for the District Attorney of Contra Costa County. Later she was a director of Bar Association of San Francisco and also served as a member of Bar Association of San Francisco judiciary committee. Morrison is a proven performer with an excellent reputation in all the organization she has worked. Her consistently good performance has enabled her to perform at her current position in Hall Capital Partners LLC.
